FuelIQ is a beta Progressive Web App (PWA). Below is a quick guide to the main features and how to install it to your home screen.
🤖 Android
- Open FuelIQ in Chrome.
- Tap the menu icon (three dots) in the top-right corner.
- Choose Add to Home screen or Install.
- Confirm to add the app.
🍎 iPhone / iPad
- Open FuelIQ in Safari.
- Tap the Share button (square with an arrow) at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add in the top-right corner.
Using the app
💪 Plan
- Your weekly workout and meal plan lives here.
- Tap a day to see its workout and meals.
- Use Start Workout to log sets, weights and reps as you train.
- Swap exercises, make a workout easier/harder, or regenerate any day.
- The Shopping tab lists everything you need for the week.
📈 Progress & Analytics
- Progress shows your recent stats, weigh-ins and adherence.
- Analytics charts your weight and workout consistency over time.
- Strength charts appear once you have logged two or more sets for an exercise.
📸 Photos
- Upload progress photos to a private timeline stored only on your device.
- Compare two photos side-by-side and ask your own Gemini key for AI feedback.
- Images are sent from your browser directly to Google; FuelIQ never sees them.
💬 GrAI — your AI coach
- Tap the chat bubble to ask questions about workouts, meals or your progress.
- Tap the microphone to speak if your browser supports voice input.
- GrAI uses your connected Gemini key and does not send data through FuelIQ servers.
⚙️ Profile & Settings
- Profile stores your goals, equipment, body stats and optional avatar.
- Settings lets you bring your own Gemini key, export or clear your data, and manage preferences.
- Everything is stored locally in this browser unless you export it yourself.
Your data and Google Drive
☁️ Google Drive backup
- You can back up your FuelIQ data to your own Google Drive from Settings → Google Drive backup.
- The backup is written straight from your browser to your Drive's app data folder. FuelIQ never sees or stores it on our servers.
- For extra protection, add a passphrase before backing up. The passphrase is used to encrypt the data in your browser with AES-GCM, and we never receive it. If you forget the passphrase, the backup cannot be decrypted.
- You control the file: you can revoke access and delete it from your Google account at any time.
🔒 Local-only data
- If you do not use Google Drive, all your data stays in your browser's local storage on your own device.
- We do not sell, share, or access your data. It is only on your device unless you choose to back it up to your own Google account.
- You can export your data as a JSON file or permanently clear it from Settings at any time.
🛡️ Compliance and your rights
- FuelIQ is designed so that we do not collect or hold your personal data. Your profile, plans, logs and AI key live on your device.
- AI calls with your own Gemini key go directly from your browser to your Google account. We do not handle, process, or store your prompts.
- Because you keep the data, you can access, export, edit or delete it whenever you want without needing us.
- This privacy-by-design approach aligns with GDPR principles such as data minimisation, purpose limitation, user control and the right to erasure.
