Terms of Service

1. What FuelIQ is

FuelIQ generates fitness and nutrition plans using AI and general fitness/nutrition principles, based on information you provide. It is a planning and tracking tool — see our medical disclaimer for what that does and doesn't mean.

2. Beta status

FuelIQ is currently in beta. Features, pricing, and these terms may change as the product evolves. We'll note significant changes in the changelog. Your feedback is welcome at newkiddev@proton.me.

3. Not medical advice

FuelIQ is not a medical device, and its output is not medical, dietetic, or professional advice. Always consult a qualified doctor, physiotherapist, or registered dietitian before starting a new exercise or nutrition program, especially if you have an injury, medical condition, are pregnant, or are under 18. You are responsible for judging whether any suggested exercise or meal is appropriate for you, and for stopping immediately if something hurts or feels wrong.

4. Your account and data

There is no user account or password — your data lives in your browser's local storage on your device, as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for keeping your own backups (Settings → Export Data) — if you clear your browser data or switch devices without exporting first, we cannot recover it for you.

If you enable Google Drive backup, your data is copied to a file in your own Google Drive. We still have no access to the file. You can revoke access and manage the file from your Google account at any time.

5. Subscription & billing

FuelIQ offers a 7-day free trial, followed by a recurring subscription at £4.99/month (subject to change with notice). Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see your card details.

  • You can cancel anytime through Stripe's customer portal or by contacting us.
  • Cancelling stops future charges; it does not retroactively refund the current billing period unless required by law.
  • Bringing your own Gemini API key (BYOK) does not change your subscription price or terms — it changes how AI calls are made, not what you're billed for the app itself.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use FuelIQ to attempt to extract, abuse, or resell access to any connected AI provider's API beyond your own personal use, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or use it for anyone else's account/key without their permission.

8. No warranty

FuelIQ is provided "as is." AI-generated content can be wrong, generic, or occasionally nonsensical — review anything it suggests with your own judgment (and a qualified professional where health is concerned) before acting on it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for outcomes arising from following a generated plan.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the app changes. Material changes will be noted in the changelog.
